She is also the creator of Beyond The Couch:  From Clinician to CEO, a signature business system that transforms entrepreneurs from the “clinician” in their business, to the “CEO”.  Dr. Sonia has been featured in international publications to include The Turks & Caicos Sun and other publications to include Scene Chicago.  Dr. Sonia was a winner and recipient in the Whole Foods/Teamwork Englewood Business Plan Competition, where she pitched her business idea for business development within the community of Englewood.  She has also been awarded and recognized by the 100 Black Women of Chicago, The Melanated Queen Awards, and is featured as an expert therapist in the educational documentary, “Confessions of A Melanated Queen” a film on higher education for African American female students.
